Dear Rotarian,
WELCOME to the Fayrotales
newsletter
RI President Bill Boyd emphasizes membership in his
August Rotarian magazine letter. In addition to
pursuing potential new members for our Club, we
need to remember to nurture the new members in the
Club. Make an effort to remember their names and
greet them when you see them.

At our July 27 meeting, we were privileged to have
Peggy George, District 6110 Governor speak to us.
She outlined the projects our District will emphasize
this year.
Clean Water, a project in Nicaragua where
we can pay for a new water well for a village.
Wheel chairs, continuing the project initiated
by Springdale Club
Polio Plus We are too close to eradicating
polio to let this Rotary initiative lapse.
Literacy The dictionary project that we
participate in locally as well as internationally.
Medical Supplies Network They need
continuing income to be able to ship the medical
supplies every month. Buy a ticket on the Mustang to
be drawn at District Conference in September.
International Peace The Youth Exchange and
Group Study Exchange programs surely support
this.
In addition, Governor George encouraged all members
to do their part in reaching our goal of
$100/member/year gift to Rotary Foundation.
