Dear Rotarian,
WELCOME to the Fayrotales
newsletter
RI President Bill Boyd reminds us what Rotary is all
about in January Rotarian -- "first and foremost,
Rotary is about service and putting Service Above
Self. Rotary was founded for fellowship, but it quickly
grew into an organization where people who wanted
to serve others came together to do it - better, more
effectively and more enjoyably than they could have
alone." Find an area in 2007 in Club Service,
Vocational Service, Community Service or
International Service to practice these Rotary ideals.

Thanks to all of the Rotary volunteers listed below
who served as bell ringers at the Fayetteville Wal-
Mart SuperCenter on Saturday, December 16th. We
appreciate your service! About $105,000 was raised
for Salvation Army this year here. It is nice to know
our Club did their part.

Guy has arrived and settled into Healthsouth Rehab
Hospital. He is ready for visitors. Ellen says he eats
much better if there is company and conversation.
Meals are at 11:30 and 4:30. Visiting hours are
12:30 - 8:30 on weekends and 4:30 to 8:30 on
weekdays. He is in active rehab until 4 on weekdays.
His room number is 127.
Ellen's cell phone is 409-3921. Don't be shy about
calling her. She really wants his friends around to
stimulate memory and recovery.
