Softball Turnament

We're gearing up and it's time to think about YOUR contribution. We are seeking $200 level donors...consider grouping with three other Rotarians at $50 each to make this goal. And don't forget to volunteer when you are asked!

Paul Harris Fellows

Congratulations to Mike Johnson, Elizabeth Reagan, and Roger Cunningham, our newest PHFs!

New Banner Holders

Notice anything new behind the podium? We have fixed up and added a new banner to hold our bourgeoning collection of flags from visiting clubs. Say "Thanks" to Chuck Culver for this!

Mar 3: ROD Doug Kuntz brought us Tom Dorre, Ass. Ath. Dir. at UofA. He explained that his job focuses on 3 areas: Revenues, Expenses, and changes by sports governing bodies.Continual acedemic reforms, rising salaries, and shifting eligibility requirements make for an ever-changing landscape that keeps his job interesting.

Mar 10: ROD Doug Kuntz presented Richard Atkinson, the Dean of UofA Law School. One of the top 100 ranked, and in the top 28 "Very Good Value" rankings, the law school con-tinues its tradition in diversity that it started when it became the first law school in the South to voluntarily integrate.

Mar 17: ROD Doug Kuntz gave us Mr. Greg Hart, of the NW Times. Greg informed us that the mission of the Times is to deliver news and information that you don't get anywhere else about Fayetteville and Wash. Co.

Mar 24: ROD Doug Kuntz presented Doyle Z. Williams, PhD, CPA, and the Dean of the Walton School of Business. We learned that Doyle came to make an impact, and sure has done so: during his time, 70 new endowed chairs, and 2 major research centers have been added.

Mar 31: ROD Doug Kuntz brought us Jennifer Barrett, CEO of Axiom Corp. Her discussion of the issues facing all of us regarding privacy and security in the digital age was eye opening.
