The group Rotarians on the Internet has instituted a very valuable technological tool for performing projects...Microsoft's Project Central. This is web-based software that allows Rotarians to access all the information available about any of the projects they are working on, in one central place. Having used this software many times as a project manager, your editor can vouch for its effectiveness. You can see their application here, under Rotary Project Central.

July 18: ROD Kit Williams introduced Fayetteville Mayor Dan Coody, who gave a State of the City Address. The Mayor stressed that Fayetteville is tied for the cheapest sales tax in NWA; that the Fayetteville airport is growing strong due to the efforts of our own Ray Boudreaux; and that the City has achieved a reduction in Workman's Comp insurance rates due to it's emphasis on safety.

July 25: ROD Marty Woodruff introduced Louise Schaper, of the Fayetteville Public Library System. Ms. Schaper declared our Rotary club to be an "information smart civic group." She told us all about the new library, and we were shown renderings of the new building.
