New Paul Harris Fellows
Current Programs
Future Programs

Several more of our club members have committed to the Paul Harris Fellow program. New pledges include Meika Hatcher, Johnnie Gentry, Dale Oliver, and Elaine Longer gave two fellowships in the memory of her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thinnes. She also presented a Paul Harris Fellow Medallion and Pin to her husband, Dr. David Longer. Remember, pledges made at this time will be in the memory of our dearly departed Rotarian, Dr. Spencer Allbright.

Jan 30: Frolicking, food and fun was had by all who attended an evening meeting at Uncle Gaylord's for a Mardi Gras celebration. Reports came in that the entertainment by the Starlight 5 turned members into dancing fools, and were so overpowering that they blew a fuse!

Feb. 6: ROD Dr. Gordan Morgan kicked off Black History and Women's month with a presentation by Mrs. Lorraine Bashop, who gave us fascinating stories on Fayetteville's oldest church, St. James United Methodist, which, it has been discovered, was built with stolen bricks!

Feb 13: Dr. Lonnie Ray William gave a humerous accounting of his efforts to have a street in Fayetteville named after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was successful in having 6th Street given the memorial name after Dr. King. You can look for the signs pointing this out on 540.

Feb. 13: Dr. Lonnie Ray William will tell us about his efforts to have a street in Fayetteville named after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Feb. 20: Dr. Bob Cochran will be presenting a program about a famous photographer from Arkansas, Geleve Grice.

March is Community Development month, with programs presented by the Rotarian of the Month Phyllis Johnson. More info on those programs coming soon.
