Our incoming President, Barbara Taylor, has requested that all members take a look at their current committe selections, and consider whether a change of pace would be nice. You can access all the possibilities here. Turn in any changes to Barbara.

 

June 5: Service Above Self Banquette. Senator Bumpers provided a wonderful, humorous, and inspiring speech to the club at our annual banquette. Ms. Jessie Bryant was awarded the Service Above Self Award for her continous efforts to serve our community's health and welfare. The event was held at the Clarion Hotel, where the food and service was excellent. Thank you to those club members who made this event happen!

June 12 : ROD Otto Loewer introduced our own club member Ray Boudreaux. Ray presented a dynamic program about the advancement and economic development associate dwith Drake Field. Mayor Dan Coody was one of our special guests. The club once again showed its purpose by presenting a donation to our local 4-H club for programming efforts.

 

June 19 : ROD Fred Vorsanger will present club member and Chamber of Commerce Director Bill Ramsey, who will talk about Fayetteville's economic development. ***Meeting to be held at the Catfish Hole.***

June 26: Fiscal-year ending items...many checks will be presented, and presiding President Jim Huffman will turn over the gavel to incoming President Barbara Taylor.

Say "hi" to new member Lewis Eply, who has transferred to our club from Eureka Springs.

Rehabilitating

Chuck Seifert is rehabilitating in the Fayetteville Rehab Center on Old Missouri Rd. in room B-17, as is Ish Benton in room E-53.

 

Curb the Litter

On Saturday, June 7, 20 wonderful folks contributed to making our community a cleaner, nicer place to be. Say a warm thank you to the following club members:
