Goodbye, Hello

Jim Huffman has performed a marvelous service to our club by presiding over us for the last fiscal year. We commend you! And we give a big Rotary welcome to incoming President Barbara Taylor. Our club just keeps getting stronger and better!

June 19: This meeting was held at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. ROD Fred Vorsanger presented club member and Chamber of Commerce Director Bill Ramsey, who spoke about Fayetteville's economic development.

June 26 : ROD Jim Huffman led a meeting filled with year-end check presentations, including recipients the Women's Shelter, the Girl Scouts, and the Boy Scouts. President Jim handed over the gavel to incoming President Barbara Taylor.

July: Rotarian of the Month Kim Smith will be presenting programs on the Government.

Club Member's Passing

Ish Benton passed away several weeks ago. He was a very active and appreciated club member, and his memory will live on.

Big Donations

Our club has a huge generous streak! At the last two meetings alone, we donated $1,000 to the Fayetteville School District, $150 to CASA, $500 to the Womens Shelter, $500 to the Girl Scouts, and $500 to the Boy Scouts!
