Aug 7 : ROD Kim Smith introduced our speaker, the Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, W.H. "Dub" Arnold, who used a lot of humor to relate a historical accounting of how the justice system grew in our country.

Aug 14 : ROD Fred Vorsanger inroduced Dr. James Rudzinski, Dean, College of Public Health. He spoke on the mission, role, and policies of the new College of Public Health and addressed areas of particular concern about public health issues in relation to the citizens of Arkansas.

A free trip to Romania! The chance of a lifetime! Submit your application to lead a group study exchange to Romania in the late spring of 2004. And, if you know someone who exemplifies the ideas of Rotary, and is between the ages of 25 and 40, you can submit them for a Team Member to join the group! These applicants must be actively involved in a business or profession and cannot be the spouse, child or grandchild of a Rotarian. Contact Jack Butt by email or at 521-7600.

September 11: Dr. E. Zlotkowsky, national expert on service learning...Service learning is the combination of service and learning so that providers and recipients find the experience beneficial, even transforming.***This meeting will begin a little earlier than normal, so please arrive a bit earlier.***

September 18: Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club...off-site meeting at the new facility with lunch and tours provided.

September 25: Name that Rotarian.
