Sept. 4: ROD Chuck Culver provided yet another half-hour of entertainment, this time in the form of the Rotary Quiz-Bowl, with Springdale and Northside clubs included as teams. Fun was had by all, and Northside came out the winner.

Sept 11: ROD J. Paul Batson and his wife Barbara introduced Edwared Zlotkowsky, who promoted and advocated Service-Learning, and suggested that such a program should be implemented at the University of Arkansas.
