Mar 4: ROD George Butler introduced Ray Beaudreaux, Director of Aviation at the Fayetteville City Airport. Ray informed us that 2003 was a great year for the airport, and that they have made serious advancements in changing our perception of the airport. 2003 enjoyed a 34.5% increase in flight operations, increases of 20.5% in fuel sales, and 27%
in revenue. Don't forget the Air Show on June
19-20!

Mar 11: ROD Tim de Noble introduced Richard Williams, CEO of the American Indian College Fund. Richard let us know of the existence and plight of American Indian institutions of higher learning. Although grossly underfunded, many of the 34 institutions strictly for American Indians boast a 100% graduation rate! To learn more, go to collegefund.org.

Mar 18: ROD Jack Butt introduced Kristen Knight, a previous outbound GSE to Sweden. Kristen gave us a delightful and informational presentation on her trip. For instance, Kristen told us that reindeer outnumber humans in Sweden by 3 times! Additionally, for every tree that they cut down, they plant 3; forest management at its best.

Mar 25: ROD Tim de Noble gave us the Director, Arkansas State Health, Fay Boozman, who informed us that the state of health in AR is in serious trouble, and that he has his work cut out for him to improve it. Visit him at healthyarkansas.com.
